How to get a repeat prescription
If you think you may need a prescription medicine, please make an appointment with the doctor. If you have previously been given a prescription for a straightforward condition, such as hay fever, please complete the repeat prescription form at the reception desk. Your local pharmacist should be able to give you advice for non-prescription medication.
Repeat prescriptions are normally for patients with long term conditions who receive regular treatment. Your doctor will decide who can have a repeat prescription. From time to time you will be asked to see your doctor to review your medication. We do this to monitor your illness and medication. If you are a housebound patient you can request your repeat prescription by ringing the surgery, between 10.00am to 11.00am Monday to Friday. All other patients can request their repeat medication by either online, posting, faxing, calling into the surgery and handing to the receptionist. There is also a repeat prescription post box sited at the front of the surgery.
PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 48 HOURS FOR YOUR REPEAT PRESCRIPTION TO BE READY. THIS INCLUDES WEEKENDS AND BANK HOLIDAYS.
