Wimbledon Community Chorus
They organise two or three events each year, usually with other choirs and musicians where friends, family and anyone else can come and hear us sing. If you sing in the bath, the shower or the car you’ll find it’s it’s even better when you sing with others.

Dementia Hub
The Merton Dementia Hub offers a range of services for both carers and people with dementia, family and friends. Delivered in partnership with South West London and St George’s Health Trust, a range of statutory services and other voluntary organisations, these services include Carers information and support groups (CrISP), a memory clinic, dementia cafés, a range of support groups for both people with dementia and carers and a number of other services (e.g. podiatry and dentistry). Our Dementia Adviser and Dementia Support Workers will also be on hand to offer advice and arrange home visits if required.

Merton & Sutton patients can access home based dental & hygienist services for those who are housebound. The service is available for those who are elderly and housebound or have long term conditions such as Alzheimer’s or Dementia. The service also caters for those with physical disabilities or learning difficulties.

Girl Guiding

Home Visit Library Service
Delivers books and other materials to residents who cannot make it to their local library due to either a physical or mental disability. The service utilises trained volunteers and acts as a valuable befriending service where required.

Merton Vision
The University of the Third Age (U3A) host a number of courses, groups and activities for older people in Merton including language and reading groups and games and sporting activities.
Merton Vision aims to support and empower people with a visual impairment, from their diagnosis of permanent sight loss through the entire rehabilitative process.

Dial-a-Ride
To use Dial a Ride the patient must be a member and will need to pre-book trips. There are no fares charged for this service. An adult must always accompany a child aged under 11, although other passengers may need to be escorted if necessary.
